Every file is checked with a SHA-256 fingerprint on arrival, so what lands on the computer is the original — not a compressed copy.

ZiggSend was built for a gap the platforms left open: Google stopped offering Android File Transfer, Quick Share has no Mac version, AirDrop barely reaches beyond Apple, and Windows tools cap file sizes or compress. ZiggSend connects a phone and a computer from the nearby-devices list or a QR code and moves files directly over the local network (or, from Android to a Mac, a USB cable), encrypted, with no account and no cloud. On arrival each file is verified byte for byte against the original. It works in every direction between Android, iPhone, Mac and Windows. The computer app is free with one phone, Pro optional; the phone apps are free. Made by Zigglabs, an independent studio in Brazil.

The story in five lines

ZiggSend is made by Zigglabs, an independent software studio in Brazil, founded by Max Costa. No outside funding.
It started with a real job: 184 files and 22 GB of video that had to leave a Galaxy S25 Ultra and land on a Mac, intact, the same day. Nothing available did that with no cloud, no account and no compression.
The first version moved files over a cable and checked every one with a SHA-256 fingerprint. Then came Wi-Fi, encryption, iPhone, Windows, and phone-to-phone.
The rule never changed: the file that arrives has to be the file that left, and the app has to prove it.
Everything on the website is measured on our own devices and published with the method. We do not publish numbers we have not measured.

Story angles

There is no AirDrop for WindowsPhone Link moves iPhone files only through the share sheet, with no resume or check of what arrived, and iCloud syncs through the cloud instead of copying. ZiggSend covers iPhone ↔ Windows in both directions.
Android File Transfer is gone, and Quick Share never came to the MacGoogle removed the Mac tool’s download in 2024, its replacement runs only on Windows, and only some recent Android phones (Pixel first) reach a Mac through AirDrop. ZiggSend is the Android ↔ Mac bridge, cable or Wi-Fi.
Few check whether your video arrived intactWhatsApp and Telegram compress media, and few transfer apps publish a check (LocalSend added one in version 1.18). ZiggSend checks the whole file once it is written to disk and publishes the method.
