Version 2.0 · released October 16, 2026

What’s new

ZiggSend 2.0 is a new app on Android, iPhone, Windows and Mac. Here is what changed, and what it means for your plan.

2.0 — a new app, built around one gesture

The gallery opens first

Open the app on your phone and your photos and videos are already there. No menu to go through first.

Hold and flick up to send

Hold a photo and flick it up onto your computer. Tap photos to pick several, then tap the computer to send them all.

Undo

Changed your mind? Undo takes the send back in the first seconds, before anything leaves the phone.

Your computers are doors at the top

Each paired computer shows up as a door at the top of the screen. The door fills up while the files go, so you can keep using the app.

Light theme

The whole app has a new look, with a light theme.

Earlier updates

Windows 1.17.10 · Mac 1.6.11

One installation per computer: opening a second copy brings up the one already open. When a license is on its computer limit, the app shows which computers use it and lets you free one up and use it here.

1.17.9 · Mac 1.6.10

The app version shows on the phone’s home screen. A warning when the phone and the computer don’t seem to be on the same Wi-Fi. Files you received can be tapped, with where they were saved.

1.17.8 · Mac 1.6.9

Saved pairings hold: fixes for the cases that made you connect phone and computer again. Open a file as soon as it arrives. Rename a paired device. Send to several devices at once.
